# §1003.1110. Amount of penalties.


The OIG may impose a penalty of not more than—

- (a) $5,000 for each individual violation of § [1003.1100(a)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=b), or [(c)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=c).
- (b) $25,000 for each individual violation of § [1003.1100(d)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=e), or [(f)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=f) by a seller who is also the issuer of the policy; and
- (c) $15,000 for each individual violation of § [1003.1100(d)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=e), or [(f)](/cfr/42/1003.1100.md?p=f) by a seller who is not the issuer of the policy.
