# §303-70.303. Mortuary services and transportation for an immediate family member who dies in transit.


Agencies must furnish transportation, if requested by the employee, when an immediate family member, residing with the employee, dies while in transit to or from the employee's duty station OCONUS. Agencies must follow [§ 303-70.301](/cfr/41/303-70.301.md) for transportation expenses and furnish mortuary services only if the conditions in [§ 303-70.300](/cfr/41/303-70.300.md) are met.
