# §301-31.8. Travel advance availability.


Employees may receive a travel advance under [§ 301-51.200](/cfr/41/301-51.200.md) of this chapter for up to a 30-day period at a time to cover allowable expenses, subject to the requirement to reimburse the agency for any portion of the advance disallowed or not spent. The travel advance may not exceed the maximum allowable amount authorized in this part.
