# §97.355. Banking.

- (a) CAIR NOX Ozone Season allowances may be banked for future use or transfer in a compliance account or a general account in accordance with [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section.
- (b) Any CAIR NOX Ozone Season allowance that is held in a compliance account or a general account will remain in such account unless and until the CAIR NOX Ozone Season allowance is deducted or transferred under [§ 97.342](/cfr/40/97.342.md), [§ 97.354](/cfr/40/97.354.md), [§ 97.356](/cfr/40/97.356.md), or subpart [GGGG](/cfr/40/subpartGGGG.md) or [IIII](/cfr/40/subpartIIII.md) of this part.
