- (a) The abbreviations in [§ 86.094-3](/cfr/40/86.094-3.md) continue to apply. The abbreviation in this section applies beginning with the 1996 model year.
- (b) The abbreviation in this section applies to this subpart and to subpart O of this part, and has the following meaning:
