# §79.1. Applicability.


The regulations of this part apply to the registration of fuels and fuel additives designated by the Administrator, pursuant to section 211 of the Clean Air Act ([42 U.S.C. 1857f-6c](/usc/42/1857f-6c.md), as amended by [section 9](/cfr/40/9.md), Pub. L. 91-604).
