# §761.383. Applicability.


Use the self-implementing decontamination procedure only on smooth, non-porous surfaces that were once in contact with liquid PCBs. Decontamination procedures under this subpart shall exactly parallel § [761.79(c)(3)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-3) and [(c)(4)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-4), except that the procedures described in § [761.79(c)(3)(iii)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-3-iii) and [(c)(3)(iv)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-3-iv) and [(c)(4)(iii)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-4-iii), [(c)(4)(iv)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-4-iv) and [(c)(4)(vii)](/cfr/40/761.79.md?p=c-4-vii) may be revised to contain parameters validated in accordance with this subpart.
