# §751.501. General.


This subpart sets certain restrictions on the manufacture (including import), processing, distribution in commerce, and commercial use and disposal of chrysotile asbestos (CASRN 132207-32-0) to prevent unreasonable risk of injury to health in accordance with TSCA [section 6(a)](/cfr/40/6.md?p=a), [15 U.S.C. 2605(a)](/usc/15/2605.md?p=a).
