# §721.7200. Perfluoroalkyl aromatic carbamate modified alkyl methacrylate copolymer.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance identified generically as perfluoroalkyl aromatic carbamate modified alkyl methacrylate copolymer (PMN P-87-1555) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements asspecified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=e) (concentration set at 0.1 percent for cancer; 1.0 percent for other effects), (f), (g)(1)(ii), (g)(2)(ii), and (g)(5). In addition, the following human health hazard statement shall appear on each label and SDS required by this section: This substance may cause lung effects.
    - (ii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in § [721.80 (o)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=o) and [(q)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=q).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping requirements.** Requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), and [(f) through (i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f..i) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
  - (3) **Determining whether a specific use is subject to this section.** The provisions of [§ 721.1725(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.1725.md?p=b-1) apply to this section.
