# §721.6167. Piperdinium, 1,1-dimethyl-, chloride.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) **The chemical substance identified as piperdinium, 1,1-dimethyl-, chloride.** (PMN P-02-207; CAS No. 24307-26-4) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new use described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80(j)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=j).
    - (ii) **Release to water.** Requirements as specified in § [721.90(a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-1), [(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-1), and [(c)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-1).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125(a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i), and [(k)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=k) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this chemical substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
  - (3) **Determining whether a specific use is subject to this section.** The provisions of [§ 721.1725(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.1725.md?p=b-1) apply to this section.
