# §721.5545. 3-(Dichloroacetyl)-5-(2-furanyl)-2,2-dimethyl-oxazolidine.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance identified as 3-(dichloroacetyl)-5-(2-furanyl)-2,2-dimethyloxazolidine (PMN P-93-1694) (CAS no. 121776-57-6) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Protection in the workplace.** Requirements as specified in § [721.63 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-1), [(a)(3)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-3), [(a)(4)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-4), [(a)(5)(i)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-i), [(a)(6)(i)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-i), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-b) (concentration set at 0.1%), and (c).
    - (ii) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=e) (concentration set at 0.1%), (f), (g)(1)(iv), (g)(1)(vii), (g)(1)(ix), (g)(2)(iii), (g)(2)(iv), (g)(2)(v), (g)(3)(i), (g)(3)(ii), and (g)(5).
    - (iii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activites.** Requirements as specified in § [721.80 (b)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=c), [(k)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=k) (as a seed safener), and (o).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=e), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g), [(h)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=h), and [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
