# §721.540. Alkylphenoxypolyalkoxyamine (generic name).

- (a) **Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance identified generically as akylphenoxypolyalkoxyamine (PMN P-86-1489) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (b)(2)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b-2), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b-c), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b-f), and [(g)(3)(ii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-3-ii), [(g)(4)(iii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-4-iii), and [(g)(5)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-g-5).
    - (ii) **Release to water.** Section [721.90 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-1), [(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-1), and [(c)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-1).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** The following recordkeeping requirements are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance, as specified in § [721.125 (f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g), [(h)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=h), and [(k)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=k).
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this significant new use rule.
