# §721.5375. Nitrothiophenecarboxylic acid, ethyl ester, bis[[[[(substituted)] amino]alkyl-phenyl]azo] (generic name).

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance nitrothiophenecarboxylic acid, ethyl ester, bis [[[[(substituted)]amino]alkylphenyl]azo] (PMN P-87-304) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in § [721.80 (f)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=f), [(k)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=k), [(v)(1)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=v-1), [(w)(1)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=w-1), and [(x)(1)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=x-1).
    - (ii) [Reserved]
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** The following recordkeeping requirements are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance, as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), and [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c).
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this significant new use rule.
  - (3) **Determining whether a specific use is subject to this section.** The provisions of [§ 721.1725(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.1725.md?p=b-1) apply to this section.
