# §721.4668. Hydrated alkaline earth metal salts of metalloid oxyanions.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance identified as hydrated alkaline earth metal salts of metalloid oxyanions (PMN P-94-1557) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Protection in the workplace.** Requirements as specified in § [721.63 (a)(4)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-4), [(a)(5)(iii)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-iii), [(a)(5)(iv)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-iv), [(a)(5)(v)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-v), [(a)(5)(vi)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-vi), [(a)(5)(vii)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-vii), [(a)(5)(viii)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-viii), [(a)(6)(i)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-i), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-b), and [(c)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-c).
    - (ii) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=e), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=f), [(g)(1)(vi)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-1-vi), [(g)(1)(ix)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-1-ix), [(g)(2)(ii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-2-ii), [(g)(2)(iii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-2-iii), [(g)(2)(iv)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-2-iv), and [(g)(5)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-g-5).
    - (iii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80(q)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=q).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=d), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g), [(h)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=h), and [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
  - (3) **Determining whether a specific use is subject to this section.** The provisions of [§ 721.1725(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.1725.md?p=b-1) apply to this section.
