# §721.4585. Lecithins, phospholipase A2-hydrolyzed.

- (a) **Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substances identified generically as lecithins, phospholipase A2-hydrolyzed (PMN P-93-333) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=f), [(g)(3)(i)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-3-i), and [(g)(3)(ii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-3-ii).
    - (ii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80(q)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=q).
    - (iii) **Release to water.** Requirements as specified in § [721.90 (a)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-4), [(b)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-4), and [(c)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-4) (where N = 10 ppb).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g), [(h)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=h), [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i), and [(k)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=k) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
  - (3) **Determining whether a specific use is subject to this section.** The provisions of [§ 721.1725(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.1725.md?p=b-1) apply to this section.
