# §721.4490. Capped aliphatic isocyanate.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substance identified generically as a capped aliphatic isocyanate (PMN P-86-1146) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Protection in the workplace.** Requirements as specified in § [721.63 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-1), [(a)(3)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-3), [(a)(4)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-4), [(a)(5)(xi)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-5-xi), [(a)(6)(v)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-v), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-6-b) (concentration set at 0.1 percent), and (c).
    - (ii) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=e) (concentration set at 0.1 percent), (f), (h)(1)(ii)(G), (h)(1)(iii)(A), (h)(1)(iii)(B), (h)(1)(iii)(D), and (h)(1)(iii)(E).
    - (iii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80(h)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=h).
    - (iv) **Disposal.** Requirements as specified in § [721.90 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-1), [(a)(2)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-2), [(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-1), [(b)(2)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-2), [(c)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-1), and [(c)(2)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-2).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b) through (g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b..g), [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i), and [(j)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=j) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
