# §721.4360. Certain hydrogen containing chlorofluorocarbons.

- (a) **Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substances ethane, 2-chloro-1,1,1-trifluoro- (CAS Number 75-88-7) and ethane, 1,2-dichloro-1,1-difluoro- (CAS Number 1649-08-7) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new use described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new use is—** Use other than as an intermediate.
