# §721.3380. Benzenamine, 4-methoxy-2-methyl-N-phenyl-.

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) **The chemical substance identified as benzenamine, 4-methoxy-2-methyl-N-phenyl- (PMN P-83-910; CAS No.** 41317-15-1) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Protection in the workplace.** Requirements as specified in § [721.63 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-1) and [(a)(3)](/cfr/40/721.63.md?p=a-3).
    - (ii) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (b)(1)(i)(D)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b-1-i-D) and [(g)(2)(v)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b-g-2-v). The provision of [§ 721.72(g)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g) requiring placement of specific information in an SDS does not apply when an SDS is not required under [§ 721.72(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** The following recordkeeping requirements are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance: § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=d), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), and [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g).
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
