# §721.2250. 1,4-Cyclohexanediamine, cis - and trans-.

- (a) **Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substances identified as 1,4-cyclohexanediamine, cis- and trans- (PMNs P-87-1881 and P-87-1882; CAS numbers 15827-56-2 and 2615-25-0) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Hazard communication program.** Requirements as specified in § [721.72 (a)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=c), [(d)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=d), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=f), [(g)(3)(ii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-3-ii), [(g)(4)(iii)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-4-iii), [(g)(5)](/cfr/40/721.72.md?p=g-g-5).
    - (ii) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80(l)](/cfr/40/721.80.md?p=l).
    - (iii) **Release to water.** Requirements as specified in § [721.90 (a)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-1), [(b)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-1), and [(c)(1)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-1).
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping requirements.** Requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), [(f)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=g), [(h)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=h), [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i), and [(k)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=k) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
