# §721.11501. Ethanamine, N-ethyl-, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate (1:?).

- (a) **Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) **The chemical substance identified as ethanamine, N-ethyl-, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate (1—** ?) (PMN P-19-88; CAS No. 23251-73-2) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** It is a significant new use to manufacture, process, or use the PMN substance in a manner that results in inhalation exposure.
    - (ii) **Release to water.** Requirements as specified in § [721.90(a)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=a-4), [(b)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=b-4) and [(c)(4)](/cfr/40/721.90.md?p=c-4), where N=46.
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of [subpart A](/cfr/40/subpartA.md) of this part apply to this section except as modified by this [paragraph (b)](#b).
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125(a) through (c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a..c), [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i), and [(k)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=k) are applicable to manufacturers and processors of this substance.
  - (2) **Limitation or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
