# §721.10682. Fatty acid amide hydrochlorides (generic).

- (a) **Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.**
  - (1) The chemical substances identified generically as fatty acid amide hydrochlorides (PMNs P-13-63, P-13-64, P-13-65, P-13-69, P-13-70, P-13-71, P-13-72, P-13-73, P-13-74, P-13-75, P-13-76, and P-13-77) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in [paragraph (a)(2)](#a-2) of this section.
  - (2) **The significant new uses are—**
    - (i) **Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities.** Requirements as specified in [§ 721.80](/cfr/40/721.80.md). A significant new use is any use other than as surfactants for use in asphalt emulsions.
    - (ii) [Reserved]
- (b) **Specific requirements.** The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
  - (1) **Recordkeeping.** Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § [721.125 (a)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=b), [(c)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=c), and [(i)](/cfr/40/721.125.md?p=i) are applicable to manufacturers and processors of these substances.
  - (2) **Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.** The provisions of [§ 721.185](/cfr/40/721.185.md) apply to this section.
