# §68.33. Defining offsite impacts—environment.

- (a) The owner or operator shall list in the RMP environmental receptors within a circle with its center at the point of the release and a radius determined by the distance to the endpoint defined in [§ 68.22(a)](/cfr/40/68.22.md?p=a) of this part.
- (b) **Data sources acceptable.** The owner or operator may rely on information provided on local U.S. Geological Survey maps or on any data source containing U.S.G.S. data to identify environmental receptors.
