# §63.9917. How do I demonstrate initial compliance with the emission limitations and work practice standards that apply to me?

- (a) For each affected source subject to an emission limit in Table 1 to this subpart, you have demonstrated initial compliance if:
  - (1) You have met the conditions in Table 3 to this subpart; and
  - (2) For each wet scrubber subject to the operating limits for pressure drop and scrubber water flow rate in [§ 63.9890(b)](/cfr/40/63.9890.md?p=b), you have established appropriate site-specific operating limits and have a record of the pressure drop and scrubber water flow rate measured during the performance test in accordance with [§ 63.9916](/cfr/40/63.9916.md).
- (b) You have demonstrated initial compliance with the work practice standards in [§ 63.9891](/cfr/40/63.9891.md) if you have certified in your notification of compliance status that:
  - (1) You have prepared a fugitive dust emissions control plan according to the requirements in [§ 63.9891](/cfr/40/63.9891.md) and submitted the plan for approval; and
  - (2) You will operate according to the requirements in the plan.
