# §63.214. What are the requirements I must comply with?

- (a) You must meet all the requirements in [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), [subpart F](/cfr/40/subpartF.md) of this chapter, as they pertain to processes that manufacture polymerized vinyl chloride, except as specified in paragraphs [(a)(1)](#a-1) and [(2)](#a-2) of this section. These requirements include the emission standards and compliance, testing, monitoring, notification, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
  - (1) Where [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), [subpart F](/cfr/40/subpartF.md), references [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), [subpart V](/cfr/40/subpartV.md), a new source must comply with the provisions of [40 CFR part 63](/cfr/40/part63.md), [subpart UU](/cfr/40/subpartUU.md), instead of the provisions of [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), subpart V.
  - (2) Where [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), [subpart F](/cfr/40/subpartF.md), references [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), [subpart V](/cfr/40/subpartV.md), an existing source must comply with either the provisions of [40 CFR part 63](/cfr/40/part63.md), [subpart UU](/cfr/40/subpartUU.md), or the provisions of [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), subpart V.
- (b) Sources that comply with all of the provisions of [40 CFR part 63](/cfr/40/part63.md), [subpart UU](/cfr/40/subpartUU.md), are not required to meet any of the provisions of [40 CFR part 61](/cfr/40/part61.md), subpart V.
