# §63.11178. In what form and for how long must I keep my records?

- (a) If you are the owner or operator of an affected source, you must maintain copies of the records specified in [§ 63.11177](/cfr/40/63.11177.md) for a period of at least five years after the date of each record. Copies of records must be kept on site and in a printed or electronic form that is readily accessible for inspection for at least the first two years after their date, and may be kept off-site after that two year period.
