# §63.1062. Storage vessel control requirements.

- (a) For each storage vessel to which this subpart applies, the owner or operator shall comply with one of the requirements listed in [paragraphs (a)(1) through (a)(3)](#a-1..a-3) of this section.
  - (1) **Operate and maintain an IFR.**
  - (2) **Operate and maintain an EFR.**
  - (3) **Equivalent requirements.** Comply with an equivalent to the requirements in paragraph [(a)(1)](#a-1) or [(a)(2)](#a-2) of this section, as provided in [§ 63.1064](/cfr/40/63.1064.md).
