# §62.14660. How do I demonstrate initial compliance with the emission limitations and establish the operating limits?


You must conduct an initial performance test, as required under [40 CFR 60.8](/cfr/40/60.8.md), to determine compliance with the emission limitations in Table 1 of this subpart and to establish operating limits using the procedure in [§ 62.14635](/cfr/40/62.14635.md) or [§ 62.14640](/cfr/40/62.14640.md). The initial performance test must be conducted using the test methods listed in table 1 of this subpart and the procedures in [§ 62.14650](/cfr/40/62.14650.md).
