# §62.14354. Procedures, test methods, and monitoring.

- (a) The owner or operator of a designated facility having a design capacity equal to or greater than 2.5 million megagrams and 2.5 million cubic meters must calculate the landfill nonmethane organic compounds emission rate using the procedures listed in [40 CFR 60.754](/cfr/40/60.754.md), as applicable, to determine whether the landfill nonmethane organic compounds emission rate equals or exceeds 50 megagrams per year.
- (b) The owner or operator of a designated facility with a gas collection and control system used to comply with [§ 62.14353(b)](/cfr/40/62.14353.md?p=b) must comply with the operational standards in [40 CFR 60.753](/cfr/40/60.753.md); the test procedures in 40 CFR [60.754(b)](/cfr/40/60.754.md?p=b) and [(d)](/cfr/40/60.754.md?p=d); the compliance provisions in [40 CFR 60.755](/cfr/40/60.755.md); and the monitoring provisions in [40 CFR 60.756](/cfr/40/60.756.md), unless alternative procedures have been approved.
