# §61.90. Designation of facilities.


The provisions of this subpart apply to operations at any facility owned or operated by the Department of Energy that emits any radionuclide other than radon-222 and radon-220 into the air, except that this subpart does not apply to disposal at facilities subject to [40 CFR part 191](/cfr/40/part191.md), subpart [B](/cfr/40/subpartB.md) or [40](/cfr/40/subpart40.md) CFR [part 192](/cfr/40/part192.md).
