# §60.5900. What happens to the emission limits during periods of startup, shutdown, and malfunction?

- (a) The emission limits of this subpart apply at all times including periods of warmup, startup, shutdown, and malfunction. The provisions applicable to periods of startup, shutdown, and malfunction of [§ 60.11(c)](/cfr/40/60.11.md?p=c) of [subpart A](/cfr/40/subpartA.md) of this part do not apply.
