# §60.5380a. What GHG and VOC standards apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities?


You must comply with the GHG and VOC standards in [paragraphs (a) through (d)](#a..d) of this section for each centrifugal compressor affected facility.

- (a)
  - (1) You must reduce methane and VOC emissions from each centrifugal compressor wet seal fluid degassing system by 95.0 percent.
  - (2) If you use a control device to reduce emissions, you must equip the wet seal fluid degassing system with a cover that meets the requirements of [§ 60.5411a(b)](/cfr/40/60.5411a.md?p=b). The cover must be connected through a closed vent system that meets the requirements of § [60.5411a(a)](/cfr/40/60.5411a.md?p=a) and [(d)](/cfr/40/60.5411a.md?p=d) and the closed vent system must be routed to a control device that meets the conditions specified in § [60.5412a(a)](/cfr/40/60.5412a.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/60.5412a.md?p=b) and [(c)](/cfr/40/60.5412a.md?p=c). As an alternative to routing the closed vent system to a control device, you may route the closed vent system to a process.
- (b) You must demonstrate initial compliance with the standards that apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities as required by [§ 60.5410a(b)](/cfr/40/60.5410a.md?p=b).
- (c) You must demonstrate continuous compliance with the standards that apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities as required by [§ 60.5415a(b)](/cfr/40/60.5415a.md?p=b).
- (d) You must perform the reporting as required by § [60.5420a(b)(1)](/cfr/40/60.5420a.md?p=b-1) and [(3)](/cfr/40/60.5420a.md?p=b-3), and the recordkeeping as required by § [60.5420a(c)(2)](/cfr/40/60.5420a.md?p=c-2), [(6) through (11)](/cfr/40/60.5420a.md?p=c-6..c-11), and [(17)](/cfr/40/60.5420a.md?p=c-17), as applicable.
