# §60.5380. What standards apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities?


You must comply with the standards in [paragraphs (a) through (d)](#a..d) of this section for each centrifugal compressor affected facility.

- (a)
  - (1) You must reduce VOC emissions from each centrifugal compressor wet seal fluid degassing system by 95.0 percent or greater.
  - (2) If you use a control device to reduce emissions, you must equip the wet seal fluid degassing system with a cover that meets the requirements of [§ 60.5411(b)](/cfr/40/60.5411.md?p=b), that is connected through a closed vent system that meets the requirements of [§ 60.5411(a)](/cfr/40/60.5411.md?p=a) and routed to a control device that meets the conditions specified in § [60.5412(a)](/cfr/40/60.5412.md?p=a), [(b)](/cfr/40/60.5412.md?p=b) and [(c)](/cfr/40/60.5412.md?p=c). As an alternative to routing the closed vent system to a control device, you may route the closed vent system to a process.
- (b) You must demonstrate initial compliance with the standards that apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities as required by [§ 60.5410(b)](/cfr/40/60.5410.md?p=b).
- (c) You must demonstrate continuous compliance with the standards that apply to centrifugal compressor affected facilities as required by [§ 60.5415(b)](/cfr/40/60.5415.md?p=b).
- (d) You must perform the required notification, recordkeeping, and reporting as required by [§ 60.5420](/cfr/40/60.5420.md).
