# §60.5365c. How do I apply for a less stringent standard taking into consideration the remaining useful life of a designated facility and other factors?


You may apply a standard of performance to a designated facility that is less stringent than otherwise required by the emission guidelines, provided you meet the requirements specified in [§ 60.24a](/cfr/40/60.24a.md).
