# §60.3016. How do I obtain my operator qualification?

- (a) You must obtain operator qualification by completing a training course that satisfies the criteria under [§ 60.3014(c)](/cfr/40/60.3014.md?p=c).
- (b) Qualification is valid from the date on which the training course is completed and the operator successfully passes the examination required under [§ 60.3014(c)(2)](/cfr/40/60.3014.md?p=c-2).
