# §60.2542. What authorities will not be delegated to state, local, or tribal agencies?


The authorities that will not be delegated to state, local, or tribal agencies are specified in [paragraphs (a) through (i)](#a..i) of this section:

- (a) Approval of alternatives to the emission limitations in tables 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of this subpart and operating limits established under [§ 60.2675](/cfr/40/60.2675.md);
- (b) Approval of major alternatives to test methods;
- (c) Approval of major alternatives to monitoring;
- (d) Approval of major alternatives to recordkeeping and reporting;
- (e) The requirements in [§ 60.2680](/cfr/40/60.2680.md);
- (f) The requirements in [§ 60.2665(b)(2)](/cfr/40/60.2665.md?p=b-2);
- (g) Approval of alternative opacity emission limits in [§ 60.2670](/cfr/40/60.2670.md) under [§ 60.11(e)(6) through (8)](/cfr/40/60.11.md?p=e-6..e-8);
- (h) Performance test and data reduction waivers under § [60.8(b)(4)](/cfr/40/60.8.md?p=b-4) and [(5)](/cfr/40/60.8.md?p=b-5); and
- (i) **Approval of an alternative to any electronic reporting to the EPA required by this subpart.**
