# §59.214. Availability of information and confidentiality.

- (a) **Availability of information.** Specific reports or records required by this subpart are not available to the public. The Administrator will, upon request, provide information as to the compliance status of a product or regulated entity.
- (b) **Confidentiality.** All confidential business information entitled to protection under [section 114(c)](/cfr/40/114.md?p=c) of the CAA that must be submitted or maintained by a regulated entity pursuant to this section shall be treated in accordance with [40 CFR part 2](/cfr/40/part2.md), Subpart B.
