# §52.1776. Visibility protection.

- (a) **Disapproval.** On April 4, 2022, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality submitted a revision to its SIP to address regional haze for the second planning period. The portions of this SIP revision addressing the requirements of 40 CFR [51.308(f)(2)](/cfr/40/51.308.md?p=f-2) and [(3)](/cfr/40/51.308.md?p=f-3) and [(i)(2) through (4)](/cfr/40/51.308.md?p=i-2..i-4) are disapproved.
