# §464.40. Applicability; description of the zinc casting subcategory.


The provisions of this subpart are applicable to discharges to waters of the United States and to the introduction of pollutants into publicly owned treatment works resulting from zinc casting operations as defined in [§ 464.02(d)](/cfr/40/464.02.md?p=d).
