# §445.20. Applicability.


Except as provided in [§ 445.1](/cfr/40/445.1.md), this subpart applies to discharges of wastewater from landfills subject to the provisions of [40 CFR part 258](/cfr/40/part258.md), Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills; and [40 CFR part 257](/cfr/40/part257.md), Criteria for Classification of Solid Waste Disposal Facilities and Practices.
