# §35.640. Purpose.

- (a) **Purpose of section.** [Sections 35.640 through 35.645](/cfr/40/35.640..35.645.md) govern cooperative agreements to Tribes and Intertribal Consortia authorized under [section 23(a)(1)](/cfr/40/23.md?p=a-1) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act for pesticide enforcement.
- (b) **Purpose of program.** Cooperative agreements are awarded to assist Tribes and Intertribal Consortia in implementing pesticide enforcement programs.
- (c) **Associated program regulations.** Refer to 19 CFR part [12](/cfr/19/part12.md) and [40](/cfr/19/part40.md) CFR parts [150](/cfr/40/part150.md) through [189](/cfr/40/part189.md) for associated regulations.
