# §267.1100. Does this subpart apply to me?


This subpart applies to you if you own or operate a facility that treats or stores hazardous waste in containment buildings under a [40 CFR part 270](/cfr/40/part270.md) [subpart J](/cfr/40/subpartJ.md) standardized permit, except as provided in [§ 267.1(b)](/cfr/40/267.1.md?p=b). Storage and/or treatment in your containment building is not land disposal as defined in [40 CFR 268.2](/cfr/40/268.2.md) if your unit meets the requirements of §§ [267.1101](/cfr/40/267.1101.md), [267.1102](/cfr/40/267.1102.md), and [267.1103](/cfr/40/267.1103.md).
