# §211.201. Applicability.


Unless this regulation states otherwise, the provisions of this subpart apply to all hearing protective devices manufactured after the effective date of this regulation. (See [§ 211.203(m)](/cfr/40/211.203.md?p=m) for definition of “hearing protective device.”)
