# §170.2. Implementation and expiration dates.

- (a) **Implementation date.** Beginning January 2, 2017, the requirements of [§§ 170.301 through 170.609](/cfr/40/170.301..170.609.md) of this part shall apply to any pesticide product that bears the statement “Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, [40 CFR part 170](/cfr/40/part170.md)”.
- (b) **Expiration date.** [Sections 170.1 through 170.260](/cfr/40/170.1..170.260.md) of this part shall expire on, and will no longer be effective after January 2, 2017.
