# §139.27. Refrigeration and air conditioning.

- (a) The requirements in [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section apply to discharges of condensation from refrigeration, air conditioning, and similar chilling equipment.
- (b) The direct overboard discharge of any condensate that contacts toxic or hazardous materials is prohibited.
