# §1090.285. RFG covered areas.


The RFG covered areas are as follows:

- (a) RFG covered areas specified in [42 U.S.C. 7545(k)(10)(D)](/usc/42/7545.md?p=k-10-D):
- (b) RFG covered areas based on being reclassified as Severe ozone nonattainment areas under [42 U.S.C. 7511(b)](/usc/42/7511.md?p=b):
- (c) RFG covered areas based on being classified ozone nonattainment areas at the time that the state requested to opt into RFG under [42 U.S.C. 7545(k)(6)(A)(i)](/usc/42/7545.md?p=k-6-A-i):
- (d) RFG covered areas located in the ozone transport region established by [42 U.S.C. 7511c(a)](/usc/42/7511c.md?p=a) that a state has requested to opt into RFG under [42 U.S.C. 7545(k)(6)(B)(i)(I)](/usc/42/7545.md?p=k-6-B-i-I).
