# §960.8. Official authorized to take final action under the Act.


The Postal Service official who renders the final agency decision in a proceeding under [§ 952.26](/cfr/39/952.26.md) or [§ 953.15](/cfr/39/953.15.md), or the panel that renders the decision in an appeal before the Board of Contract Appeals under [part 955](/cfr/39/part955.md) procedures, as the case may be, is authorized to take final action on matters pertaining to the Equal Access to Justice Act as applied to the proceeding.
