# §952.1. Authority.


These rules of practice are issued by the Judicial Officer of the United States Postal Service (see [§ 952.26](/cfr/39/952.26.md)) pursuant to authority delegated by the Postmaster General, and in accordance with [39 U.S.C. 3005](/usc/39/3005.md), and are governed by the Administrative Procedure Act, [5 U.S.C. 551](/usc/5/551.md), et seq.
