# §21.9580. Counseling.


An individual may receive counseling from VA before beginning training and during training. VA will apply the provisions of [§ 21.7100](/cfr/38/21.7100.md) to beneficiaries under 38 U.S.C. chapter 33 in the same manner as they are applied to individuals under 38 U.S.C. chapter 30.
