# §10.27. Definitions.


For the purpose of [§§ 10.28 to 10.47](/cfr/38/10.28..10.47.md), the word Act as used herein refers to the World War Adjusted Compensation Act, as amended; the word Veteran refers to that term as defined in [section 2](/cfr/38/2.md) of title I of said Act; the word Director refers to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
