# §1.461. Procedures for transmittal of record copy to the International Bureau.

- (a) Transmittal of the record copy of the international application to the International Bureau shall be made by the United States Receiving Office or as provided by PCT [Rule 19.4](/cfr/37/19.4.md).
- (b) [Reserved]
- (c) No copy of an international application may be transmitted to the International Bureau, a foreign Designated Office, or other foreign authority by the United States Receiving Office or the applicant, unless the applicable requirements of [part 5](/cfr/37/part5.md) of this chapter have been satisfied.
